I bought this item to hang on our deck under the roof and out of the sun. It hung there til October when my husband took it down and packed it away til this year. He didn t notice that the colors had faded into only pink and blue when he put it away. I noticed immediately when i took it out to hang again. What a disappointment! Of course it is now too late to return it. Wanted you to know so you could use another more fade preventive paint.

Everything regarding this transaction was top notch! It arrived on time, rather quickly. The item is bright, cheery, absolutely adorable, and looks great on my fence with my other decorations. I have gotten many compliments. I would definitely recommend, and can see myself as a return shopper. Thank you!

Pros: Vivid colors, good rep of imageCons: Flimsy, looks cheap, way too much money for this quality of product

I generally avoid butterfly decor. It's too cute- you know, butterflies, unicorns, rainbows and the like. This beauty does not play well with unicorns and kittens. It is bold, grown up and artistic.I wasn't expecting much for the price, but was pleasantly surprised at the quality and appearance. In fact, I just ordered two of the dragon flies from the same seller to keep her company on the window, where she is held by a suction hook.

Omgosh! I absolutely LOVE these Mexican Talavera style metal garden wall sculptures!! They are SO pretty! The colors are very vibrant, and warmer in tone than the photo posted on Amazon (ie, the body of the dragonfly I received is orange, not a yellow as it appears on my screen). I got both the Dragonfly and the Butterfly sculptures. Both are just beautiful and perfect to brighten up a very green backyard area. We have planted several flowers, but as they won't be blooming until this summer or maybe even next year, I wanted a way to add some color. These sculptures are just what our soon to be garden needed. We are hanging these on a treated wooden fence (blah wood brown), that sits behind our old holly tree (our landscaper warned us NOT to plant over top of the holly's roots). The butterfly and dragonfly are going to look perfect there (though I wish each sculpture was just a tad larger -- but they are still a good size, approx 12 inches). I may end up getting a Talavera style lizard sculpture to add to the space.A reviewer here mentioned that they did not like the Dragonfly's "white" eyes, as they looked "cartoon-y". I have to agree that a "color" would have been prettier. I decided to color in the white with a turquoise blue polish (to match the lighter blue in the wings). It looks AMAZING! (I used Orly Blue Collar -- a turquoise cream nail polish for this! And I then sealed it with a fast dry nail polish topcoat -- Poshe) NOTE: Try NOT to touch the black part of the eyes with the nail polish brush, as it did bleed a bit. It was easily fixed by applying a second coat of the blue polish over the greyish black smears. :) I used a black Sharpie permanent marker to toiuch up one area of the black of the eye. Worked great! I am uploading a pic of the Dragonfly's BLUE eye-whites. I LOVE how it came out.
