I had high hopes but I am not very satisfied. It is not easy to put on the chair and does not stay in place very well. My chair is one that has the handle on the side to put the footrest up. There is a small hole in the pocket which I assume is there for that purpose, but every time you put the footrest up or down, it pulls the cover out of place. It would work better on a chair with a remote control. The cover stretches more than I hoped. I have not washed it yet so I'm not sure how well it will hold up.

It was a little too big for my recliner but I was able to stuff it down the sides of the seat to make it fit better.

Ha .. husband said "nothing wrong with the quilt covering my chair". It's a lift chair and most often messed with the quilt. After using this cover he has totally changed his mind. Was a bit oversized but not bad. Always looks tidy now.

I have two swivel, rocker recliners. One back is a little higher that the other. This protecter will fit both. It is washable and I am very pleased with the design. It is obvious that there is a protector cover on the chair but it conforms very nicely to the recliner shape and gives a nice appearance. What you see in the picture provided by the manufacturer is just what you get. I found that the elastic straps were not needed on my recliners. Any excess material tucks (and stays) nicely. I did use silicone sofa tuckers in fitting the cover to my recliner. I had to order the dark gray as the color I would have preferred (light gray) was not available.The only caution I have is that the cover material, although quilted, is very thin. It's OK with me becauseI purchased this to mitigate daily wear, not to protect against liquid spills. My guess if liquid is spilled, it will most probably leak through to the recliner material it is protecting.

I was hesitant to buy this chair cover after reading some of the views but did order it. The cover fit nicely after tucking in the excess material. I do not have a large recliner and think it still worked well and would fit a larger size easily. I like that the back slips on and stays in place. The chair arms have a bit of a problem staying put due to the elastic to hold it in the front and nothing to keep it in place on the back side but not a huge deal as the front is the most important. The length for the foot rest I would say needs to be longer to cover more of the area as it is short, plus adding an elastic strap around the back side would help to keep it in place. There were directions to strapping it down and it was a simple. The material feels good and my granddaughter did spill soda on it and it did not go through so that helps especially because I bought this for protection from my dogs and keep their nails from damaging the chair and that seems to work well. It is not really heavy and thick but enough to prevent damage from pups.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!! IOVE THIS RECLINER COVER. I'VE HAD SEVERAL OVER THE YEARS AND THIS ONE IS MY FAVORITE ONE!! FITS GREAT AND STAYS ON AND I DON'T HAVE TO CONSTANTLY BE TUCKING AND SHIFTING IT. IT STAYS IN PLACE ALL BY ITSELF. I ONLY WISH THAT THEY HAD A LIGHT CREAM ( OFF WHITE) COLOR AS THIS WOULD MATCH MY DECOR BETTER BUT THE DARK GREY WORKS ALSO. ITS VERY EASY TO PUT ON AND TAKE OFF. I HAVEN'T WASHED IT YET SO I CAN'T COMMENT ON THAT BUT I'M NOT FOR SEEING ANY PROBLEMS AS I WILL WASH ON GENTLE CYCLE WITH WOOLITE AND AND TUMBLE DRY ON LOW, THEN LAY OVER SHOWER CURTAIN ROD WHILE STILL DAMP TO DRY THE REST OF THE WAY. THIS MAKES THEM LAST MUCH LONGER.

Its not super thick but it is thicker than these other cheap covers. It seems to be still very durable though. I have a basic $300 Ashley recliner and it fit rather well. If your recliner is one of those big wide ones it probably won't fit. Has 2 straps that you rap around the back legs to keep it from sliding. The straps on my model recliner are pretty tight. Arm covers do have pockets on both sides but they don't fit as well as in the picture. I didn't have a lot of material left over so there wasn't any extra that I had to tuck in. Im sure results may very. And its not super long on the foot rest as well. So the foot rest isn't fully covered but all in all it's better than the other cheap covers out there.Really not bad for what you are paying for. Protects all the important parts. Im pretty happy with it. I would definitely recommend. 7/10
