This is a cute washing machine door opener. I would just leave the door open without using this but we have cats and I'm afraid one of those nuggets will get stuck inside, so we got this and it works great. I love the convenience since it has the magnet on it. It is a great size and rather sturdy. Sadly we did have to get a new one recently because the magnet ripped off the toy part but since it is cheap, it did not bother me to spend the money to replace it.

It is super cute! I also don't have to worry about my washer door getting accidentally closed anymore. You suction cup it to outside of your door and place it and your done. It's that simple and not expensive.

My sister gave me one of these for my birthday one year. It was fantastic! Not only did it softly hold the door open just the right amount to let my front load washer dry out between uses, the magnet foot helped me keep it handy, stuck to my machine, when not needed to prop the door open.When the glue to the magnetic foot didn't stay stuck, it was easy to Gorilla Glue it back on.Unfortunately, the first one met is demise when the neck was torn off by the chain around its neck.My purchase of this one is it's replacement. It's done great. I don't use the chain around the neck of this one. ....and thus, it's gone for a ride at least once, magnetically attached to the inside of the machine. hahaha.I hope they continue to make this product for at least another 20-30 years, so I can purchase replacements when needed.

this is just a soft foam like toy with a sticky magnet on it. the magnet will come off but can be glued back on with super glue. it did not last for me because the chain cut off the head when someone bumped my washer door. I plan on using same idea to make another one with a different toy and magnet.

Although this is a relatively cheap item, I am disappointed with the way the unicorn separates from the magnet on the bottom. I had purchased one prior that my husband threw out when I was out of town. I purchased another one thinking it was just a fluke. Anyway, the second one did the SAME thing. I even used some glue that usually works on anything, E6000, but that did not work either. I am very disappointed because I rec'd many compliments on this adorable little unicorn.

We used to have to keep the washer door open all the way to prevent mold & mildew inside, making it hard to get in & out of the laundry room. Now the door is open just enough and we can easily access the room. The magnet and suction cup are strong enough that we have had no problems. Definitely glad I purchased this. Plus, it makes me smile each time I see it.
