These were comfortable out of the box. Waterproof, but wore very quickly on the sides. Not made for much abuse. Worth buying a pair a year though.

I wear a size 9.5 but had to return and get a size 9. Other than that good shoe definitely waterproof. Won’t be able to wear much longer as they are coming unglued. Lasted almost 6 months working a job outside with a good amount of walking

I always liked Columbia brand for its high quality. Not the case with this item. Make yourself a favor and buy something else.

I ordered these without having seen them first at the store and was happily surprised. Excellent comfort. I find it difficult to compare these shoes to say the like of Sketchers. Not a fare comparison, Columbia is way above in quality and comfort. Especially if you need wide shoes as I do.

I have only used this shoes when it has rain, for regular walk, only used like it for 4 times in 2 months and it’s starting to break apart, I tried to contact the seller but it is imposible, I tried to contact amazon and its the same. Terrible shoes if only last for 3 to 4 uses.

Der beste Schuh, den ich seit langer Zeit über verschiedene Preisbereiche erworben habe!Benötige für Dogwalks stabile Schuhe, die wasserdicht und komfortabel sind.In den vergangenen Jahren habe ich im Grunde alle bekannten Marken gekauft. Nach 3-4 Monaten konnte ich alle wegschmeißen. Goro-Tex Gewebe gerissen, Sohle abgelaufen was es auch immer war.Mit Salomon Schuhen bin ich auf losem Untergrund gerutscht - das war schon nicht mehr lustig.Per Zufall bin ich auf die Columbias gestoßen. Dachte für den Preis muss ich mich nicht so ärgern, wenn ich wieder hinfalle..ABER: Weit gefehlt! Ich bin komplett geflashed über die gebotene Qualität und Performance. Gerade jetzt im Winter habe ich warme und trockene Füße. Dazu muss man wissen, dass ich mehrere Stunden mit dem Hund über die Felder gehe. Und sie bleiben dicht und die Füße warm. Also die Isolierung funktioniert auch von außen nach innen. Denn wenn man in kaltem Wasser steht, dann entzieht es auch Körperwärme.Die Sohle ist so gearbeitet, dass man kaum den Untergrund bemerkt. Gefrorener Schnee wird quasi gecrushed ohne das man gleich eine Fußreflexzonenmassage on top bekommt. Ich gehe einfach drüber. So einfach kann es sein.Und das beste zum Schluss: Die TraktionAuch auf glattem oder matschigen Untergrund gehe ich einfach mit stabilen Halt weiter. Am Wochenende hatte ich die Schuhe auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt getragen. Wunderte mich, warum so viele Besucher auf dem Boden lagen. Alle ausgerutscht. Da lag ich sonst auch. Aber mit diesen Schuhen eben nicht.Fazit: Beste Performance in den mir wichtigen Bereichen. Dazu bequem und leicht. Möchte man gar nicht mehr ausziehen.Selbst wenn sie nur 3 Monate halten würden (so wie die meisten Schuhe, die ich hier gekauft habe) so sind sie das beste, was mir in den letzten Jahren in Bezug auf Trecking Schuhe passiert ist

UPDATE: while these shoes are so comfortable, cool, looking, and waterproof (although more on that in a minute), they are just fatally flawed.As a few other reviews have mentioned, the shoes exhibited extreme wear very prematurely at the flex point where the toebox bends when you walk. It became very noticeable within about three weeks of wearing these occasionally and the waterproof aspect went right out the window. The material on top of the toe box is an interesting type of fabric, but it is obviously very susceptible to breaking down when it’s flexed. If they would update this design to put rubber or some other fabric there, these would probably be some of the best shoes money can buy.I used the Prime try before you buy feature and sampled three similar shoes - two Columbia and one Solomon. The Solomon were very lacking in cushioning and were just honestly not very comfy. The other Columbias were fine but kind of clunky looking. These are waterproof (verified), so comfortable, and really good looking. I love them! I wear a 10.5 normally and have a very narrow foot and these fit perfectly.
