It say waterproof and it's zero waterproof. I could not return them because I had worn them with the confidence that they were proof. After wearing them and my feet got wet, I knew I was cheated from deceptive marketing. NEVER AGAIN

I like the color and looks of this shoe. The higher sole takes a bit to become accustomed too-gives a bit of roll to your gait, It has good cushioning. I've had a stress fracture in top of one foot and did find after wearing for five or six hours that the top of that foot felt sore. The other foot was fine.I think it is close to being true to size but maybe a bit stingy in length so if you are toward the upper end of the range for your size you might want to go up a half size.I do feel the price is high but that is the case for all name brand shoes these days.

I have been an avid walker and runner my whole life, so I can testify to the importance of high quality shoes to protect your joints from long-term wear, not to mention offer back support, leg support, etc. I like a good amount of support and bounce, which these definitely provide. These are excellent shoes as far as quality goes. I just wish they were more attractive! Other than that, the laces are the perfect length and work well, and the soles are fabulous. They are true to size as well. A great win.

These are super comfy right out of the box with a nice cushioned memory foam in the sole. I normally wear a size 9 and I got these in a size 9 and they fit perfectly. I like the look of them and the sole is perfect for hiking or trail running. It really grips and does a great job on uneven surfaces or even wet rocky surface that would be slippery in other shoes. It is funny to wear them on the wood floors in our house because they sound like they are semi-suctioned to the wood when I walk around.I do have pretty bad bunions and I will say that these are just slightly more narrow than I would like. After walking 10 or so miles, with my feet swelling a bit, I start to get a lot of pain in that big toe joint. This is an issue that I don't have with my Hoka One Ones which are wider.Overall these are excellent shoes and I would highly recommend. If you have bunions or wider feet just be aware that the toe box is a bit more narrow in these. This toe box was similar to the On Clouds I have and narrower than my Hoka One Ones.

Been looking for a light weight, well padded hiking and walking shoes. Very comfy and I am so satisfied. Well made shoes and high quality shoes... worth the price and true to size - 7.5. I highly recommend this shoes!! Great buy!

I didn't get these for off road type hiking, but more for "around town" type walking/hiking. I love the soles - compared to many of the newer models which seem to really skimp on traction, these have a wonderful bottom texture.I like how lightweight they are, and they are beautiful looking stylish shoes.I took a gamble on being able to offset the standard toe box with ordering up a size, and it seems to ahve paid off. The 9s dont' seem overly big with socks - and do give me a bit more toe box room. These aren't advertised as generous toe box shoes, so I knew that going in.I thought Hokas would have an ample toe box but turns out not really. So compared to my Hokas these actually stack up nicely, but with far better traction.Pricey, but recommended.

I ordered my normal size, feels true to size. The toe box is too narrow for me, but otherwise comfortable and good support.

Edited and lowered the stars from 3 to 1 (December 30, 2024)I bought this pair of “waterproof shoes” for my trips in general which I want to carry less things.I wore this pair in Florida in sudden rain.It says waterproof but these are NOT.From the gaps/creases that the tongue is positioned, the water came in and only my toes were dry after 20 minutes of heavy rain but from the arch to the ankle, they’re soaking wet. It’s not worth close to 100 dollars only to keep my toes dry. What a waste of money.I trusted Columbia but now I’m skeptical about their statement “waterproof.”——————————————————————Original review -> Amazon packaging is just bad. They put the Columbia shoes in a box into a thin plastic bag, and I received a box with huge dents and ripped box.Luckily the shoes inside were clean and had no damage. The shoes were a bit bulky but I wanted something waterproof with good cushion so that I can wear them when traveling without carrying another pair of shoes/shoe covers/rain boots. When I tried them on, they’re soft inside with good cushion/pad and the width was slightly tight, roomy enough with regular socks, but definitely not with hiking socks. (I often choose “wide” but this shoe line doesn’t have that option.)If you’re planning to wear these shoes with thick hiking socks, you may want to try a half size up and see if it fits better. When I splashed some water on, the shoes completely repelled it and the water balls fell off from the shoes.

The Columbia Konos TRS hiking shoes in size 8.5 fit women's size 8.5 perfectly with room to spare for thick socks. Well made with great traction and good padding. I ordered Monument Spring Yellow so it doesn't show dirt as easily. This matches the quality of my last pair of Columbia hiking shoes which still looks like new after a decade. But this new pair is lighter in weight with heels slight higher. It is priced much higher than the older style, but still maintaining the good quality of a brand I trust.
