To measure the waist correctly, measure around your natural waistline, allowing the tape measure to sit comfortably. For the hips, measure around the fullest part of your hips. I have larger thighs and butt and purchased the 2X . Snow pants have always been snug on me. I should have ordered the 1X as the waist is big on these even though I was in the correct range according to the charge. Even when I sinch the waist with the Velcro straps they are still a bit big. But I like the how roomy the butt and thighs are so I will keep them. Not sure if the size down would fit the other areas and now I can layer. I’m 5.5 and they are a bit long but will be fine with ski boots. They are not extremely thick but insulated enough. In pants I’m normally a lg/XL but sized up because of the nature of snow pants. Would recommend.

They seem nice but they didn’t fit at all. So I can’t really rate them. They are so slim fitting, and probably 2 sizes smaller than other pants of the same size. I thought maybe I gained weight (lol) but I bought replacement ones the same size from somewhere else and they fit fine.

I love these Columbia snow pants, they fit well, true to size and are comfortable considering they are layer snow pants. Can fit a base layer under nicely. If you like to wear thick fleece base layers you may want to consider a size up.

Love these snow/ski pants. I ordered a size up because of my large hips. The overall fit is true to size. I would not size up. The pants are adjustable at the hips with velcro, which really helps when you want to dress in layers. I'm really happy with my purchase.

Nice snow pants, look well made. I wear a 18/20 from Lane Bryant, I bought a 2X and they were small, They went on, no problem, I didn't have on long johns or leggings, just panties, but I couldn't snap & zip them, so returned them. I re-ordered a 3x, and it fits good. They look like snow pants, NOT flattering, especially when you are fluffy to begin with, and I would recommend a long sweater or tunic top. They 3X were a little big in the waist, so I synched them in, with the inside Velcro at the waist. it is very similar to little kids pants, where you can pull them tighter at the waist. All is good. They do make the swoosh sound when you walk. They will fit fine in the pant length with snow boots on. I recommend buying them. But feel you should buy a size up.

I am a short lady 5’3”, I typically wear a size 16W- I ordered these in the 2xl.Best fitting snowpants after a long search! They are bit on the roomy side (so probably perfect for the size 18w). But I’d rather some extra room when it comes to snow pants-What sold me is the waist has these great adjustable velcro tabs- so you can cinch up the waist for a perfect fit! Also has two snaps & zipper at the waist. The pants are smooth/clean without a “puffy” feel to them.The bottoms have the internal liner with an elastic rubber cuff- to ensure A good seal over your boot without slipping. A bit wider boot leg opening too.These are perfect for our Wisconsin winters, so happy with this purchase at such a reasonable price!

Pants are nice. Slimmer in the pant leg and then bigger through waist and hip. Will need a belt. My only major complaint is that I had paid for a new product, yet the tag was cut off, so the product had been bought and opened previously.

They fit, but too tight to sit down. I ordered the next size up and they are much better. Big in the waist there is a tab with velcro. They are very nice pants and I hope will be warm this winter.

Let's face it, I knew they would not be flattering but I was happy with the fit. I tried them on with leggings underneath as I knew I'd need another layer and they fit no problem. I was most surprised about the length, i'm 5ft 4 and most items like this would be ridiculously long but they actually seem to be the perfect length. I'm currently wearing size 16 jeans and ordered the 2x. There is a lot of room in the waist but there are velcro straps to adjust the waist so i'd rather have them be too baggy then tight. They are fully lined and I can tell they will be super warm when I'm up on the mountain. Thrilled with my purchase.
