I hike a lot and this shirt is perfect any time of the year. Fits perfectly and only slight issue is the wrinkles don't really come out.

I love the fact that it is a button down so it can work as a shirt, but also as a very light jacket. It is also very flattering and a nice change from T-shirts. Easy to wash and dries quickly if you are on the road. Bought another in a different color.

I live in southern New Mexico (US). The sun is strong here year round. I purchased this shirt to protect my sunburn prone skin even on warm days. Although it is still February, we've already experienced some unseasonable 80 degree days this year. I've been able to wear this shirt while hiking outdoors without getting a sunburn and, as an added bonus, the shirt is attractive; the color is beautiful.

I've purchased this item several times from the Columbia store and have constantly been impressed. I bought this as a gift for someone. (Unfortunately, I miscalculated their size, and it was too big for them.) What I loved about this shirt is the functionality. You can roll the sleeves and there's a clasp to secure them in place. The snap buttons on the shirt are perfect and sturdy and do not unsnap easily. The fit is flattering, and the pockets are sturdy. I also love the zipping function on the shirt pockets. There is back venting which makes this a breathable shirt and perfect to wear layering or in hot conditions where you want your arms coveredMy only critique is with the velcro strap/brand on the chest pocket. I believe its to hold your rod (or something) in place. I don't need it for that purpose. And it can be a bit annoying, as is has the potential to snag on other items it comes in contact with. Despite that, I would highly recommend.

XS fits true to size, looks great over shirts or dresses when I want extra Sun protection. The white color goes with everything.

Great for sunblocking. Lightweight covering, vented. I wear in Arizona summers outdoors all the time. I love the snap closures, which are not described well in the listing.

I love these shirts and own several. They are terrific for travel - don't take up much space, easy to wash in a hotel sink, and dry in a heartbeat virtually wrinkle-free. The sizing does run a bit large - for reference I am 5'7", 36" bust, 27" waist and the S/P fits well. I do have one in a Med, which is a bit roomier for wearing over a t-shirt. They are very lightweight, ventilated, keep me cool under a hot sun and I appreciate the UV protection. I also prefer the snap closures - much easier to fasten than fiddling with the buttons on other models of sport shirts. The zippered side pockets are handy, though heavier items would make the shirt sag. The only reason I deduct one star is that they arrive packaged with one cuff turned up several times and secured with the internal tab, creating deep wrinkles that are very difficult to remove. Recommended low setting on iron does not seem adequate, yet I would hesitate to use a higher setting and chance melting the fabric! After several washings and drip drying on a hanger those wrinkles do eventually disappear. Fortunately packing in luggage does not create these deep wrinkles :) Great shirt!
