I dont know what the sizing is for Columbia clothes. My son is 13. I ordered an XL. It should fit him for a year or two as long as he doesnt hit another growth spurt. Perfect and a great price lightweight jacket! Love!

I usually get my son a Northface jacket. Financially, I needed to cut back on things. Northface is 3-4 times the price. This jacket is just as cozy & nice. Its perfect for the Fall and will keep him warm until winter. The quality is just as good. He usually wears a 14/16, but I got this in the 18 to be a bit more roomy. It does run true to size. Don't hesitate to buy this. Its a great value for a Columbia jacket.

I used to buy North Face for my son but he out grew them every couples of months. Now I bought this jacket for a fraction of the cost and my son loves it. The fit is just right for a slim, tall boy. He is 11 years old, 5'4" and 110 lbs. I bought him a size XL. The longer sleeves and bodice fit him perfect, in fact, it exceeded my expectations.
