The tip did fit on my baton, but I am not sure if they are making batons differently than they did 50 years ago...but there is a weight at the bottom end of my baton, and I had a real tough time forcing this tip over it. It worked and it's OK, but perhaps I should have purchased a whole new baton!

Worked perfectly on the 22" baton where I had to replace both ends. I wiped a small amount of dish soap on the end of the baton shaft to aid with the end cap and to help hold it on once the soap dries.

We use a lot of batons and tops. Star Line is our preference for all batons.
