The middle keyway installs the camshaft with zero degrees of advance, while the other eight allow for 8 degrees advance or retard, in two degree incrememnts.

Great product for performance use! You will have to modify the front timing cover to add clearance for the double roller design. Modification involves sanding material off until the cam sprocket and oil pump clear the cover

Worked just as it should coming from Comp Cams. Been running this timing set for around a year as of now. It has put up with my abusive driving enough for me to say it can hold up. Fit as described and had no problems installing.

Looks like a good timing set but, spent 2 hours cleaning and de-burring, the upper gear and oil pump drive collar had allot of machining burrs.
