Standard CF card with somewhat decent memory capacity. The write speed is on the slow side and that will cause buffering if used in a digital camera during a burst of shots. So far it has been reliable and can't write any negative or not recommend this memory card. Good bang for the buck if you don't need a high writing speed.

Has worked well in my dslr. It isn't a super-fast card, but I don't shoot video, and the speed has been sufficient for stills. So far reliability has been good.

I have used this brand in the past with pretty good luck, but this particular card was dead on arrival. My Canon 5D Mark III would read it and cannot reformat it. I also tried formatting the card with a computer and did not have luck that way either. Both the camera and the computer recognize the card but cannot do anything with it. For now, I will stick with my old and reliable Lexar. I realize that the Extreme is a budget friendly option. Again, I have had reliable use out of this brand in the past, so I am still going to give 4 stars.
