I have been buying these trash compactor bags for several years. I keep extra boxes in my pantry so I won’t run out unexpectedly. They fit my trash compactor just perfectly. The drawstring is very convenient and also strong for when you are ready to lift out the bag to take to the garage garbage can. They are leak proof! Others I have bought were not leak proof and sometimes leaked a messy drippy line out to the garbage can. Not these. Never had that problem. I will continue to buy these exact trash bags!

These are stronger than they look. They cling tightly to rim of trash can where they get multiple plunges of the compacter. They have a built-in plastic drawstring which is also sturdy. I pull it into a knot, and I'm off to the garbage room.

In my research, I found the general consensus is the 13 gallon tall kitchen bags are no longer fitting 13 gallon trash containers. I've tried several brands, two different trash cans and every single bag splits down the side because they are too small. They're just not worth buying anymore. These bags are just a little larger, heavier and fit wonderfully. I don't have a trash compactor. Use them for your 13 gallon kitchen trash can. These are awesome!

We live in an apartment building, and other people take our trash to the dumpster. Some inconsiderate people buy bags from the local grocery store, which tear easily and spill stinky trash on the bodies of people throwing the bags away. So we started buying these compactor bags. They don't cost much more, but they won't easily tear. This makes life easier for others. Isn't that what our lives are all about? With these bags you can use the handy dandy compactor tool that's sold on amazon.com, since the bags resist tearing. So get one of those and use it.

These work well in a compactor since you cannot find bags anymore at the local stores. They are durable but you rip. You have to stretch them to fit which is not a big deal and better than sticking the 33 gallon bags in there which was a waste.
