bought to replace a worn valve cover bolt on a '97 jimmy with a 4.3 vortec. threads and length match, but the thickness of the post leaves these without a shoulder to torque down to, and the thickness of the head is about half as wide as the OEM, so they pull through the seal pretty easily. wouldn't recommend for a full replacement, but if you've got one that's worn, these will do in a pinch, just keep 4 OEM fit the outside ones, only use these in the middle
