I was putting together a fire kit and I though this would be a great piece of kit. In addition to the fire plugs you get a beefy ferro rod and small tin box. I'm really pleased how well the fire tinder works.

Easy to use and worked well with damp wood. Flint stick creates a great amount of spark.

The items work exactly as advertised burn hot and long enough to start even a damp kindling to fire. The pieces are so effective they can be split in half and still work better than matches or anything similar. The striker took some breaking in but works on the first shot if you know what you're doing. Very cool for bug out bag
