I got this jar to make my sprouting easier by avoiding smells and wetness. It is very easy to use and functionality is great. The storage capacity is sufficient to for one or 2 meals. The lid fits perfectly and easy to handle. The cleaning process is lot easier.Highly recommend!

I purchased the 2 kit package. I was disappointed that the lids did not fit on other standard jars that I had, not all of which were Mason jars. Further, the design could be improved. A jar with a tapered opening is not ideal for growing sprouts. At harvest the sprouts fill the width of the jar and almost need to be forced out through a narrow opening. The jar should be of uniform size throughout.

Poor quality glass jars. This is my first time sprouting and I should’ve bought BALL WIDE MOUTH MASON JARS and stainless steel mesh covers for sprouting. The day before harvesting my broccoli sprouts after rinsing I continued to gently shake to drain water. The glass tapped my counter with little force and broke. I’ve purchased BALL MASON JARS and I encourage all buyers to compare the quality of thicker glass versus this thin glass with COVERS THAT DO NOT FIT BALL JARS. This was a waste of money.
