I only have one real complaint on this fixture. A hanging/wiring hook could and should have been provided. It's a little difficult to hang a light fixture of this size alone and without one. Honestly I expected there to be one. I ordered two of these and four bulb and a three and will review them both. These were hung in the normal above sink facing down position. It really can be mounted in any position (even vertically and to be honest I thought about it) and will remain i the orientation you choose. It does smudge like most light fixtures that aren't dark. It has good glass and arrived well packed to avoid breakage. I have relatively skinny hands and fingers and putting the retaining rings on the first couple of pieces of glass was a squeeze until I got a system down but they hold well. I put teardrop style led Edison bulbs in each unit and it really light up the faucet area. The supplied wire nuts are to small to accommodate house wiring so I used the old ones.

Took a little work to get them installed but they are nice upgrade from our old vanity lighting.

We wanted to make our bathroom more modern so we went for a black matte track lights. Getting these up wasn't the hardest but it certainly takes another set of hands. The color is great but the metal doesn't feel as polished on the ends. It's certainly fine if you're going to mount it and leave it, but if you're going to be touching it often then it may be a problem.
