This simple spring made my 1988 Pontiac Trans Am’s brakes like new. Replacing the spring in the proportioning valve with this spring made my car’s rear brakes work again!

Don't waste your money on a new proportioning valve. Replaced stock spring with one of these springs in my 1986 Iroc-Z Camaro's proportioning valve (with original rear disc brakes). I was suffering of the "no rear brakes" syndrome. Night and day difference after installation. Pedal feels firmer, rear brakes actually do some braking.

I replaced the spring in a 90 Camaro proporting valve and I feel the difference in the rear brakes, they actually aid in stopping the car now.
