Having used some of their other Bluetooth receivers, I tired this one after my other one was 'borrowed' by my teen daughter. I will say this one... not so great. Audible hiss in the background that wasn't there with the other ones. So... eh.. ok.

My wife's daily driver, a Suzuki, has your basic AM/FM/CD radio. It's not new enough to have all the connectivity you expect today. She loves to listen to her Amazon or YouTube Music when she's driving. Normally, though it isn't very loud, and doesn't have good fidelity, she just lays her Samsung phone in her lap and listens away. Her radio does have an Aux jack. So, this little Comsoon Bluetooth Receiver was perfect for us both. This is a great little device at a very reasonable cost. It's super easy to pair. You just charge it up via USB-C, power it on, turn on your phone's Bluetooth, click to pair it, that's it. You can also pair a second phone by turning off the device, disabling Bluetooth on your first phone, turning it on and pair to the second phone. It will then remember both. It's use is as simple as plugging it in using either the straight adapter plug or the corded one. Turn on your radio, turn on the device and play away. We are using it in the car. But, it would work just as well with some amplified speakers I have. It also can be used for hands-free calling with your phone. That sounds quite acceptable, though it isn't as quiet as purpose built hands-free capabilities found in most new cars today. The battery life is all day, plus. It can be easily recharged in your car.Our car's Aux setting, accessible by a button the front, it won't switch to aux unless there is a source present. So, it needs to see an active device there fully plugged in. The jack on our dash offers considerable resistance before the plug snaps in, traveling that last few millimeters. At first, I thought the device was fully inserted. But it needed that extra nudge to be recognized.Overall, this is an excellent little device at an unbeatable price point. I highly recommend it for applications such as ours. It gets five stars.

We have an older car that only has Bluetooth for calls, but not for music connections. Very annoying that it can't play podcasts and music from our phones through the Bluetooth connection. So, we ordered this to address the shortcoming. It was very easy to set up -- just plugged the double-ended audio connector into the device, then plugged it into our car's AUX input. It's light enough that it just hangs on the port without any apparent problem. Click and hold the button to turn it on and pair. That's it.I like that it has a double digit battery indicator, so you know where the charge is sitting and when you need to top it off. It charges from a USB-C cable, so we're able to use the phone charger we already have in the car.The only thing that takes a little getting used to is that it doesn't turn off when the car turns off. I know that's an obvious statement -- it runs off an internal battery and isn't linked to the car like a built-in Bluetooth receiver. It turns off on it's own after a few minutes if it loses connection with your phone, so that's good. But just be aware that if you are near your car, it has good enough range to stay connected and will stay connected unless you specifically turn it off or drop the BT connection from your phone. Not a negative, per se; it's exactly how it has to work given that it's an external device from your car. Just takes a little getting used to.

My 2009 Jeep has a 3.5mm MP3 connection as well as a USB connection built into the audio system. But I wanted to add Bluetooth. This device does that very neatly. It came packaged with the 3.5mm cable and a USB cable, plus a 1/4" audio adapter (which I don't need) for the 3.5mm cable. It also included instructions. At first, I gave it a try without reading the manual by plugging it into the USB outlet. The device powered up right away and the display numbers flashed but no pairing. I finally read the manual and discovered that, while it would charge up via the USB connection, it required the 3.5mm connection to work with my 15 year old Jeep's audio system.I plugged in both cables, although the USB is only needed for charging (there's an indicator on the device that tells you what the charge is; with max charge it will read 100). Once I had it properly plugged in, it powered up and paired with my phone right away. I could play from my phone through the device with no problems with good quality audio. The device has a built in audio volume function (rotate the round button on the interface), but the audio on my Jeep's built in system also worked and overrides the device audio when used. Not a big deal one way or the other. My only gripe is that I ended up with the device hanging from one or two cables into my audio system. There's a place for me to store it, but the cables kind of get in the way. I'll need to find a way to bundle up the cables. Aside from that, however, it certainly does what I want it to do: it delivers Bluetooth into my tired old Jeep.

I used this with a few devices, old radio, CD player, airplane... The experience was the same each time. It WORKS. But the audio just isn't that great. Not terrible, but not too clear. I also tried connecting it to different listening devices, AirPods and bluetooth headsets, but again, same result each time. There was a hissing, which wasn't super loud but, full disclosure, I'm hard of hearing. So for ME to hear the hissing, it's there. My wife confirmed too. There are other similar devices, which may work better. For the price point though, it works.
