This 4" conduit carrier kit by manram is no joke. It is all metal and well made with significant hinge and springed latch. It is a perfect addition to my truck, allowing me to carry long items like drywall corner bead, small and delicate wood and plastic trim, copper pipe, electrical conduit, and other things. All you have to do is supply whatever length of 4" pvc pipe that you want depending on the items you want to carry. Most of the things that I carry are 8 feet or less, so I bought a 10 foot piece of 4" PVC and cut it down to just a little over 8 feet and it works great. This product is well made, easy to use, and protects my stock during transportation. Well worth the price point. One trip from the supply store or to the job site would pay for this. You just need the pipe. Works really well. Will work for any vehicle with a rack on the roof.

Exactly what I was looking for to mount a holder for welding rod on my shop cart! I am sure it works great as a carrier for a work van, but I mounted it vertically and it is working out really well. Keep in mind you need a section of PVC but all rest of the parts are included to make a terrific pipe or rod carrier as a roof rack. Great product, wish I had got one sooner!
