We replaced a much thinner set of pool stairs which had cracked with these steps. They’re a much more well built set of stairs. We did have to buy sand bags for each side which we bought off the Amazon website. Very happy with this purchase and they look great!

Steps are awesome. Blue looks great with the pool. Could use some better instructions on the "how to fill" part. Followed the instructions, exactly, still kept floating even after 30 minutes. Wound up searching YouTube for videos and found one where someone zip ties gallon jugs...that worked.

There is nothing that I did not like about these steps. Definitely five star. They fit perfect the most time consuming of putting it together was putting the sand in. I live in Florida and the sand was very moist so it took us about 4 hours to get the sand into the steps. Well worth it though. Putting it together was a breeze. Love only having screws for the brackets everything is snap-in, instructions and video very well explanatory. Well worth the money. Highly recommended for above ground pool with a deck.

Perfect for our 24’ Caspian salt water pool. Highly recommend drilling some extra holes to help it settle, we used 50 lbs of play sand and have had no issues with it floating. Very stable and great for getting in and out comfortably.

Great steps....I love them and they only took about 15-20 minutes to assemble and fill with sand. Read on for how easy to put into the pool.I built my steps on the wooden deck and was worried about how I would lower it in the pool by myself especially with a vinyl liner. I"m guessing this thing weighs about 120 lbs and is awkwardly shaped...but it was a piece of cake.I was able to put the extra curved extension hanging over the pool with no support under it and I didn't have any sag. Secondly, I dove (I mean jumped) into the pool and grabbed the steps. I gradually pulled the steps toward the center holding them level until only the last leg was still on the deck. I stepped back and gave it a quick snatch where the steps slid right off the deck into the pool. They landed with a slight splash and and floated like a boat with a few holes. Seriously, didn't think about them floating at that weight. They maybe went down 6 inches when they hit the water and then took about 5 minutes to slowly sink into place.

Great set of stairs. They are not super easy to assemble, but not terrible if you are handy. Do not attempt without a mallet, a funnel and a scoop for sand. Adding sand is time consuming but essential. Even with all the sand and letting all the air out they are near neutral buoyancy. However when anchored to the deck they don’t move. And I mean not an inch. Incredibly sturdy stairs. Handrails not so much, but the stairs are so good you won’t need to put any force on them. Provides not only a convenient and easy way to get in and out of the pool, but also a place for the kiddos to sit and lounge.Update - after six weeks of extremely heavy use, the stairs are still rock solid and hand ty moved a bit. Highly recommended.

I was sure hoping that these pool steps were as good as the description said they would be. When it arrived in two separate boxes, I was a little intimidated with all of the pieces that needed to be put together. My son and I set out to put it together and learned a few things along the way. First, these steps are definitely good quality. The material they are made out of is thick and strong and that makes me happy. If you don't have a rubber mallet, get one before you put these steps together. That way there is no way you'll damage the steps in the putting together process. The directions are laid out wonderfully. Seriously, start at #1 and work your way through putting it together. **Advice** when filling your steps with sand or pea gravel...make sure you have filled it with at least as much as they say in directions...or like us...as much as possible. We guessed initially, sank the steps and had to pull them out and fill them up some more. We started out using sand (made a funnel to get the sand in the holes) and it took a long, long, long time. After sinking the steps and pulling them out to fill them up some more, we switched over to pea gravel which took so much less time. We reassembled the steps after the second filling, dropped them into the pool and shazaam...they sank like they should. We used the anchor pieces to attach the steps to our deck and they are nice and secure now. We had a pool full of people tonight and they worked like a charm. We are incredibly happy with these steps and now only hope that they will last for a long time...or at least the 5 year warranty period. We would recommend purchasing these steps.
