I thought I'd like this ink color - I love it! And it flows well with no clogging. It had an almost vintage look without being too light to read. I highly recommend it

I can only say that this is a very beautiful shade of turquoise, a light shade, very pleasant, easy on the eye and most enjoyable. It IS a bit on the thin / wet side, so if using a M or wider nib, it may feather, depending on the paper.

I like the colour and writing experience with this ink. The problem is that it bleeds very heavily. I can use paper only on one side, because the ink goes through to the other side -- even with an EF nib.

I'm a Fountain Pen Guy who uses them in 95% of my writing efforts. This ink provides the quality I look to when I put my thoughts into writing. It's good and worth the purchase price.

This is the wettest fountain pen ink I have ever used. Nice color. I will not be using it often as I prefer dry ink. For those wanting a very wet ink, this is a good choice

The color is beautiful. So easy to refill my pens with the bottle. The writing quality is amazing. It flows great does not clump. And it’s a good price.

This Conklin Dark Rust ink is a beautiful red-brown ink and quite resembles its namesake. Its behavior is incredible and makes for such a pleasant writing experience that you don’t want to stop writing. In my custom stub nib, it doesn’t get much better. The flow is a medium wet, very smooth and consistent. Even a 1.3mm stub on Rhodia 80 gsm is dry in 6 seconds. The ink is lubricated and will smooth out dry or drying piston fillers, and one of my favorite attributes, it lasts longer on the nib before drying. I can take a bit of time to think before writing without capping the pen. The saturation is high, the color is vivid. There is minimal shading and no feathering on Rhodia, Clairefontaine, or Black ‘n Red papers. I don’t use cheap paper with my fountain pens so I can’t comment on its performance with them. On Rhodia, there is considerable show-through with the stub, I’ll need to use only one side of the paper.I love the vintage appearance of the box and bottle. This is the first Conklin ink I have purchased, and now look forward to getting some more colors. I highly recommend Dark Rust.

Great ink. It is a wet ink, but no bleed through even on low quality paper.

This stuff flows beautifully from a fine or extra fine European fountain pen nib. It's a little wet for the medium point but as long as you have high quality paper, it should be fine.
