It would have been useful to have put a male thread collar on the male plug, rather than 2 female collars, since the standard cabling has a female collar on the female plug. Would be more watertight then.

NO. THE PIGTAIL HAD AN INAPPROPRIATE ENDING MISS LEADING. WOULD FALL OFF AND VULNERABLE TO RAIN AND SALT
