My toddler grandson LOVES this hat. It fits our 2 year old perfectly with room to grow. The embroidered design of the truck (he knows what kind) is done well. Fabric of the hat is excellent quality and rim can be shaped to match dad's. I am very happy with this purchase.

The posting said, "Excavator Toddler Hat Boys Age 2-4" when I clicked on the Excavator hat, so I was surprised when I received it and it is quite a bit bigger. I do see where the main headline states it's for boys from 2 to 10, but I think this hat is much more suitable for, say, 5 to 12 (or maybe older) depending on the size of your child. I am going to cinch it tight and see if my grandson can wear it - it does fit my adult head if I expand the cinch with room to spare. With that said, it is a very nice quality hat; the finish is perfect with a washed-out effect, the embroidery on the excavator is very well done, and the seams are well sewn. The cinch in the back is the awesome buckle type, and the inner flap lifts to help you access any cinched material to help it lay flat. When I cinch the hat as tight as I can - without the back of the hat buckling so it looks awkward - it might fit big 5 year olds (in my opinion). Label shows 100 percent cotton. There was embroidery backing left on the inner cap that was simple to pick off. VERDICT: I am rating this 5 stars as it is a very nice cap with good ability to adjust. I'm not sure about the other caps, but the excavator cap is definitely better suited to kids older than toddler, tweens, and possibly older kids/adults.

My toddler loves construction vehicles and I jumped when I saw this. He was so thrilled when I gave it to him and wore it for the rest of the day. Wanted to wear to go to sleep in. It is very well made and put together. My toddler is 4 and it fits him well with some room to grow. I love that the excavator is stitched on and not a patch. The quality is nice and the price point is on the high end but worth it.

This is the best hat for toddlers and young kids. It fits above their ears perfectly. Super cute design. Construction quality is top notch. The clasp is very durable and doesnt slip. Looks great and gets a lots of compliments!
