This belt measuring gauge comes in handy. It's dual sided for measuring V-belts on one side and grooved for measuring serpentine belts on the other side. I'm glad I bought one of these.

If you are expecting to get the item that is shown in the pictures, guess again. You would think it would be easy to find a v-belt measuring tool that would just give you width and length of a belt in both SAE and metric measurements, wouldn't you? Well, good luck with that search.

This gauge is well made and relatively easy to use. The only problem is the measuring units are not in inches; it is not even labeled to let you know what type of measure is being used. The product description does not explain this. It would be helpful if a conversion to inches was included.
