Bought these tires for our son. First ride out, he made it four houses down and lack of grip during acceleration threw him from bike. Broke his collarbone in four places and road rash everywhere. If you purchase, please carefully wear in

Looks and feels exactly like the stock tire that came with my Fz09!It breaks in very well and is super sticky for when I travel down the mountain as I ride to work.

These tires seem to be a good value. I tried one on my FJR1300 rear about 9,500 miles ago and it lasted until now. The most I ever got with the prior Michelin Pilot Road 2's was about 12K miles. I have yet to mount this the new one just purchased, but hope to repeat the life.I replaced the front tire just last week with a matching Continental and it seems to perform satisfactorily. I commute daily with a mix of 70% 80mph highway and 30% stop/go traffic. With all the highway riding, I wear a flat spot in the middle of the rears, and this time, it kind of snuck up on me and steel belts were showing through in one spot (shame on me!). Prior to mounting this tire, I had punctures in two Michelins with very low miles on them (~1000) and I attribute that to the poly belts (and lots of new construction where I live!). On the worn out Continental, however, there appears to plenty of puncture attempts where the rubber is cut/nicked, but nothing pierced the tire in those 9,500 miles. Its great actually wearing a tire out rather than replacing it prematurely due to punctures. That's where the value is.

I installed the Continental ContiMotion on my BMW oilhead. Haven't been in the rain yet. The tires are working well on the dry paved rural mountain roads in Alaska for a sport touring motorcycle. Winter is fast approaching so the mileage wear evaluation will not be until next season.

Great tire. Good grip on the road. Have not tried in wet conditions, but again I won't be needing to do so as I don't ride in the rain.Have about 600 miles on the tire and it has barely shown wear. GREAT! Will purchase again next time.

I pray to God that these aren't as bad as I think they are. They are getting the miles, but holy hell do they handle like trash. I have them on a VFR800 and I put them on brand new and I can't corner this bike without feeling uneasy at all. They follow lines horribly and are generally bad tires...but they're cheap and they go straight very well and stop very well, and we have no weather here, so they work. If I were to do a cross country trip, I'd swap these out in a heartbeat though. I have well over 2k miles on them and they look new (except the front which is kinda choppy already). I'd recommend running them super high pressure (42 rear and 36 front) and they'll feel a bit better, but any lower and they feel like running on flats.

Second rear tire for the matching front, the rear tire seems to last about 3500 miles max on my FJR. These tires handle very nice and grip the road well.Carcass of the tire is very thin when worn down to the end of it's tread life! Bargain prices can be found for these tires, but the short life is a trade off when you factor mounting costs in.
