This is the second belt of the exact brand within less than 2 years. A belt should last longer the first belt became cracked in my opinion a short period of time. I have replaced tensioners and pulleys and replaced it recently and am already getting a terrible squeaking. Can’t 100% put it on this belt but again 3 stars due to the first failing so soon.

I removed the broken air conditioner pulley and needed this shorter drive belt to bypass the ac condenser. After some online research I found that this was the size I needed. It fits and works perfectly!

Had some belt chirp and bought a new belt from AZ. Did not fix the problem, actually got worse and thought I was going to have to replace tensioner or an idler. Did the water test to confirm it was not a bearing or something mechanical. I do have some belt travel but was not in the mood to shim a non adjustable pulley. Ordered this belt to ty an avoid all the work. Put it on a cold vehicle. Started it up and revved the engine to 3,000 rpms....no chirp! Will update if that situation changes but I am sold on this belt and will use for all my vehicles. Costs a bit more but is already worth it to me.

I replaced my belt for my 2011 Ram 2500 5.7 hemi with a dayco belt. It was a terrible mistake. An hour later the belt started squeeling really bad due to slippage so I decided that buy a Continental instead. After installing, the horrible sound stopped immediately and worked just fine. I would recommend this belt to anyone driving a heavy duty truck due to the rugged design of the belt treads, for it will prevent slippage. Not only that, both the Dayco and the Continental were almost the same price but were no where near the same performance. Highly recommend.

I recently replaced the power steering pump on my 98 Dodge Dakota (with no air conditioning) . No matter how I adjusted the alignment of the pulley. It just wouldn't line up. The pulley needs to be pressed in another 1.5 - 2 mm to line up. The pulley is pressed up as far as possible against the collar of the sealed bearing from the pump. Because of this alignment issue the belt from my previous Dayco belt, I couldnt rid the noise of the squealing. Dayco is a high quality belt. So this issue is not the fault of Dayco. I bought this belt in hopes of relieving myself of the screeching noise and my god it worked!! A 2.5L Dodge Dakota with no air conditioning requires a 79.5 inch belt and 92.125 with air conditioning. After you drive your car for about 15 to 20 miles this belt will experience a slight initial stretching which might require you to re tension your belt.Someone posted to let this belt sit out of the packaging for 1 day to relief the belt of the kinks. I did that and it was relaxed by the next day. Another thing I really liked about this belt is the textured backing on the smooth side. It has a dotted pattern which is designed to grip the smooth part of your belt pulleys to prevent slippage. I recommend this belt if you are dealing with the same alignment issue as me.

I have a 2012 Ram 1500 with the 5.7 Hemi. The OEM belt started to squeak pretty bad around 30,000 miles. I bought a Autozone belt, (Dayco) and it didn't last more than a couple hundred miles and the squeak was back. I bought this belt, Ive put on maybe 1500 miles with no squeaks what so ever. The belt was a very easy installation this year Ram.
