Fault symptoms:
When you press the roof control button, only the luggage compartment lid is opened, but the roof is stationary,at the same time screen indicates that the convertible has a fault code .
Installation recommendations:
The structure of the convertible is very precise, with various microswitches and Hall sensors, need professional testing equipment and maintenance tools,recommend looking for a professional sunroof repair shop, or ask if there is a repair shop that has repaired the convertible, let them check and replace the motor.

The gasket and entire machined mounting piece is too small. They out some God awful sealant on there as well so it's a pain to get off. If I were to do it again I'd just order a cheaper motor elsewhere without the mounting plate. The driveshaft gasket OD is also too small so don't remove or damage old gasket on mounting plate. Easiest method to remove the smaller plate is to drill out the sealant filled holes inside the mounting plate beside the driveshaft. Use common sense on the depth, I went a 1/4" too deep on one but its a normal dc motor so there's 4 mounting screw holes just don't go through the motor itself drilling them out. I used a utility knife to cut back the sealant around the edges then proceeded to take a small flat head and beat it in around the mounting plate until it came free. Best of luck have still yet to test it out but is installed and will update review accordingly.
