I mainly got this because I needed a rolling pin and some slippats for rolling out tortillas. This rolling pin is actually super nice and rolls out the dough thin enough! It's a big improvement from improvising with a glass container haha. It's also a silicone type of material so it doesn't stick at all or get very dirty at that.It also comes with some card recipes for rather small batches of dessert. They're really cute but I wish they were a bit smaller. It also comes with a lot of cookie cutters which I haven't tested out yet but there appears to be a good variety that any kid would enjoy.The shallow grey pan is also silicone and it's pretty shallow. I can't see myself using it for much. It might be good for recipes that you cool in the fridge like oatmeal bars or fudge, considering how shallow it is.The cupcake liners are silicone as well and reusable which is a plus in my household! I love reusable items cause I don't have to spend extra money.I think this kit is perfect for a small house hold or for your kids! Everything is mostly silicone and easy to clean! It's all small enough for kids but I think the size is okay for adults too, at least that don't make big batches of food.

I love this baking set. It's a great activity for the younger kids when they come to our house for a visit. It has a generous amount of cookie cutters, with only 2 that have an area that is too narrow to get the dough to release (i.e. ghost's arms).The silicone mat has a lot of helpful conversion information for baking and the silicone baking pan is a pretty good size.. The rolling pin isn't small but rather . . . short, for little arms and hands. The handles on the rolling pin are sturdy and have a lacquer on them so they can be washed.The 6 silicone cupcake liners are on the thinner side but work as intended. They even include a set of recipe cards with recipes to follow for the cookies and cupcakes. A very complete set, lots of fun teaching baking and making a mess.This baking kit is $38.00 (at the time of this review) with a 20% coupon offered, which is a good value for a set that can be used over and over again.
