Easy to use, functions well. I like the design of the product with the metal storage case, makes it easy to keep all the pieces in one spot and in order. You can use these to press the letters into something like leather, paper, fondant, wax, or clay. I also used these as stamps, making sure to wipe off the excess ink afterwards, easy to clean.

For a non-baker, these were actually pretty easy to use once I figured out that I needed to chill the dough more frequently. I was pleasantly surprised that the square outline of the block itself never showed up in the press result. I included a photo just to show you the struggle I experienced when a letter has a completely enclosed part. I had to use a toothpick to dig the cookie dough out from the "R" loop on my first attempt, but the second attempt came out much cleaner. For most of them, I had to press the letter in twice for it to hold shape. For example, all the tines/legs of the "E" and the center spaces of the "H" pulled upward as I removed the stamps, so I lightly tapped the dough back in place and then re-pressed for a cleaner look. I know I could have pre-dipped the stamps in flour or sugar to get cleaner presses on the first try, but the stamps were quite small and I feared they would just gum up more frequently if I did that. Speaking of size, I do wish these came with a universal grip/handle or something to hold them. They were a bit difficult to hold for these arthritic hands, and I think it would have been easier to center them if I could look more from above... but my entire hand was blocking my view of the stamp as I lowered it into place. They did come with a few extra characters like !, &, : which will be useful on future baking adventures. Overall, I am happy with the set as they do come in a small tin with a nested tray that neatly holds them all in place so it is easy to find the characters you need quickly as long as you put them away orderly. I do worry about cleaning them. They have a striated look as if they are 3D-printed, so I know they will have a temperature-limit for how hot I can apply water to these. I normally would be tempted to soak something that touched sugar in a very hot water bath, but I think I am just going to do my best to rinse these out in warm water and use a toothpick to get any residue off them. (I admit that I haven't attempted cleaning them yet, but they appear to be pretty clean from the toothpick work so I might only need to rinse them.) I do not recommend you wash these over an open sink drain, because are really small and can easily rinse right down the drain if dropped. Definitely rinse them over a fine mesh strainer if you have one. For the price, this is a fantastic set of a full alphabet stamp set that doesn't break the bank for a new baker like myself.

These letter stamps work well on ploymer clay. They leave good impressions and they are versatile because you can make the impressions at varying depth and they are still easy to read. They come in a box which they fit in very nicely and it is easy to find the stamp that you are looking for. They would be perfect to personalize jewelry for someone with an initial.

All caps, sans serif, nice and clean deep casting in a useful tin box with indentations to hold each character. Absolutely perfect. Next, I would like to see the same in lowercase, and numbers, please. 🥰

Good construction and well defined letters but they are difficult to actually use without some sort of extra hand tool to grab onto the letter and stamp into the fondue or clay.I would have difficulty pulling a letter out of the box, stamp, and replace the letter back into the box. I just found the letter stamps too small to grab onto. I nearly drop them sometimes when I pull a letter out of the box.The good is that the letters are easy and clearly identifiable. The storage box is well designed and holds all the letters neatly. The box is also easy to open and secure.
