It keeps the sun off our dog when he’s in his kennel at agility trials. We have also covered the windows in our car to keep it cooler. This works very well to keep our dog & us comfortable in the summer heat!

I ordered this to put over a chicken coop/tractor. It help bocks the direct sun and does feel a little cooler under there compared to outside of the area. I haven’t measured temperature difference, but the shade helps. I like that it’s breathable and the wind can easy pass through.I’ve been using it an area that gets direct sun and areas that get shade from a tree part of the day. It’s held up well. As someone else mentioned, I think it’s good to have it on top and the west side to help block the afternoon sun.

I love the part that it breath while keep the heat out. Love it. I use it for my duck runner or my dog crate while playing in the fenced yard.

I bought this Aluminet shade to go over my dog's crate in the car so that he could be left for short times whilst we were at training camp. It worked perfectly as I was able to cover the crate completely (and it is quite a large crate) and leave the hatchback of my car up so that he had plenty of air. Very pleased indeed with it.

These shades work well on RV's too. Let's light in, helps deter rain under the awnings as well.
