The Insignia mini fridge that we bought a couple years ago for my daughter’s dorm room stopped cooling last week. Even though I have a warranty on it, I decided to fix it instead of hauling it for repair. I removed the OEM start relay, it rattles, so thought I will replace it with this unit from Wilsnsun.In the package, I received the start relay and the overhead protector. The QP2-4.7G12 start relay looks exactly like the original, see couple of images I uploaded. I installed this new starter but it did not help get the compressor going. The overload protector looks different from the OEM unit but fits. I did not have luck getting the fridge working using either or both these components. The relay seems to be the most common component that breaks and stops the fridge from cooling. At this time, I am not sure if the issue is really with this replacement unit or something else is broken. I will find out after I get it repaired.I will update the ratings and review based on my findings.
