I bought this for a hobbywing 1040 esc and it fits. Had a few tumbles and it stayed in place. Only problem I had was grass got caught in it. And my guess is the traxxas plug is female instead of male like the other fans and lights I have installed. After driving for 45 minutes the esc remained cool.
