My kid's baseball team goes through a lot of cooling towels. These are bigger than most and way cheaper than buying singles.

These work ok but I have a set from another company that hold the water better. The water just kinda runs off these towels rather than staying in the towel. I would look elsewhere.

I received this right on time. The towels are thin and dry out quickly, so you are constantly having to get them wet. I am glad they came in a pack of 20 because you need to use more than one at a time. I put one under my cap on my head and one around my neck, then poured cold water on my head and neck every 30 minutes and it did keep me cool. I do like these and would recommend.

I bought these to help me cool down while playing golf in the Texas heat and I was pleasantly surprised with how well they work. I have a small ice cooler on the cart that I use to wet the towel down with cold water, I then squeeze the water out such that it is not running off, fold it several times (20" long, 2" width, see picture) and then lay it around my neck, tucking the ends underneath my short collar so it doesn't shift while moving around or hitting a shot. I just repeat this procedure once/hole or every other hole and I am good to go. I thought the towels might be too large when I first ordered them, but they are pretty thin so not bulky when folded several times and the fit around my neck is great. I also thought I would use multiple towels when playing, wearing one and having one cooling, but it turned out I just need one towel. When I need to refresh it with cold water, I just take it off, dip it in the cooler, ring it out a little and put it back on. I plan to give some of these to other golfers as a quick gift while on the course.

I purchased the 20-pack of these cooling towels. I ran cold water over them (from my garden hose) until they were completely soaked, then wrung them out. They stayed cold for a very long time. I did find that if there is a warm wind or breeze, they dry out faster. The reason I ordered the 20-pack is because I sewed them together to make various cooling items. I sewed 4 together and made a cooling pad for my dog (she loves it!). I sewed 2 together longways and left the center open to make a cooling shoulder wrap. I sewed together end-to-end to make a cooling wrap collar for my dog. Even after sewing so many together, I have plenty left over. I give them to guests to keep cool while they are visiting our campground in the summer. These are awesome, made really well, and I highly recommend!

We had an outdoor event in August and decided to get these as an extra gift for our attendees. They turned out to be a hit! They're a great value for the price. The color variety pack let everyone choose their favorite, also.To use, you just wet with cold water and wring out the excess. As the towel dries, it gives you "evaporative cooling", i.e. a nice burst of cool relief when you're in the hot sun. Perfect for hiking, golfing, beach, etc.Note, these are fabric towels, not the foam-like feel of the Frog Togs chilly pad. But I think these fabric ones are an excellent alternative. They are a nice weight polyester, not too heavy even when wet, a little heavier knit than a sports jersey. They are nicely stitched around the edges.Another advantage to these fabric towels is they can be washed. I did mine on gentle cycle, then hung to dry, and they came out fine -- ready for another day in the sun!
