If you upgrade to a more powerful servo, sometimes you may run into servo mount flex making the steering not as tight and efficient. This metal mount helps with that. It keeps the servo movement nice and tight without allowing inefficient flex.

With more powerful motors you can actually tear your RC apart, so this is one the pieces you need in order to help alleviate flexing and breakages from higher-torque motors. Works as stated. The only issue here is price. This mount actually costs more than the servo I have mounted in it.
