They are great looking but with heavy down pours they splash. Unfortunately for us it’s so close to our wood columns that it will mess them up over time. So we will have to go to basic copper ones, but if you don’t have a problem of them splashing around in heavy rains then they are beautiful and do a great job.

Bought this copper rain chain so that even after the shiny copper has faded, it would then have the cool greenish finish to it after some time.The rain chain is pretty solid and “heavy” in a sense where it seems stronger than the aluminum ones I’ve gotten. I do live in a tropical area where it rains a lot. During light rains, its really beautiful to watch the water just flow through each cup. But if there’s heavy rains, the diameter of the cups will not be big enough to pass through all the water from the gutter and most just spills out like pouring a bucket of water on an umbrella. That should be expected because if you think about it, it has a smaller hole than your downspout and acts as a funnel rather than the usual pipe. Due to a heavy rain, one of the cups “popped” out and I lost the hook that holds the cup to the chain. I messaged the seller and they responded back right away and they will be sending me a replacement. But I would still give it 5 stars for quality and excellent customer service. Highly recommended. Oh and I suggest buying the large funnel cup that goes on top to make sure all the water from your downspout goes directly into the cups.

Love this product, it has added beauty to my garden and with all the rain experienced of late, its sounds add a calming feature to my veranda. Its features are delicate but still strong and sturdy.

We removed a rusted downpipe and placed the Marrgon Copper Rain chain in its place! Looks terrific although cannot handle the torrential rain we have had so far in WA but the effect is terrific and its pleasing on the eye! Thank you
