Needed to replace a broken cord in a window shade. I tried two other times to get the 2.7mm size and got cords over 3mm, which would not fit into the shade's mechanism. These are 2.7mm and fit perfectly.

The cord is better than the original one, it's less elastic and more sturdy. It should last for the life of the sunshade.

We had this item installed for less than a month & it broke. It’s a rougher texture than others I’ve purchased, so I think that created more resistance & in turn, led to its quick demise. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I installed this on my Hunter Douglass Silhouette. This pull string slipped when raising the blind. It provided a quick and temporary bridge until Hunter Douglass sent me their replacement. Hunter Douglass provided me free brackets and pull strings for my five, 22 year old Silhouettes. They shipped FedEx ground at no charge.I was very happy though with Amazon’s overnight delivery of the First Choice Products cord loops. They just didn’t work for my specific window treatment.
