Hold the power button for 5 seconds to turn on! I didnt realize till i almost made the return but i read a comment saying the same thing. Good for the price!

Product was good when it worked I changed the battery one day and now it won’t work at all very disappointed in what should be a simple long lasting product

I recommend and show this tool to all my friends, worked great for large format 24x48 tiles, suctions well on clean surfaces, iF I need another one, i will buy again

I had never used one of these for laying tile before but this really aids in laying tile, especially larger tile, 12x12 or larger. The suction does great to pick up and hold the tile in place till you can get it lined it. It doesn't take much of the vibrating to seat the tile in the mortar thinset bed. I could see someone over doing it and seating the tile two much but think it would take a little work to do so.Good addition to the tool set and seems like a decent value for the cost. I have only done one small room with this so far but plan to give it a better test soon.

If you ever need to install a lot of tile and you're trying to keep it level this is a palm saver. Making it DeWalt battery powered is even more convenient to pull the battery off of mixing drill or just bring an extra one out. Nicest thing is not have to worry about cords dragging through mud and mortar.

This thing works amazingly well. It has eight levels of vibration. Have been able to pull up 24x24 tile with the higher vibration settings. Has worked on textured ceramic with the help of water for form a seal for the suction cup. The vibration button is a momentary button which I like. This does take two hands to operate. After a few uses muscle memory does kick in so you are able to watch the tile more than the tool.The plastic is thinner and lighter weight compared to the name brand version. The mechanicals feel solid and not cheap. You don’t need a heavy 5ah to run this tool. It runs fine on a small light weight 3ah.

I used this product to help install large format tile on a countertop - and it worked great! I like that it uses the standard Dewalt 20V battery (not included, but I already had some for my other tools). The suction cup was effective and helpful in laying the tile, and the adjustable levels of vibration helped make sure to get the right amount for the job. Would recommend if you’re installing large format tile!

At first I thought the one I received was defective because it wouldn't turn on. But, if you hold down the power button for what seems a really long time, it powers on.I was working with a non-gloss tile and I had to really press down to get the suction to work. A bit of water helped but it still took a lot of effort. After that it worked okay, but I wish it remembered the speed setting between uses.I was using genuine DeWalt batteries and I first tried a 6.0 Ah battery. I couldn't get it all the way on and had to wiggle it off with the help of a rubber mallet. I got a smaller battery to go on, and it did get easier with use, but it took a lot more effort than my DeWalt tools require.

I've never used one of these before and went in with rookie thinking that laying tile was as simple as using glue and tile for my first job. I learned the hard way and didn't hesitate to get this after seeing it. It made the job wayyyyy easier. The suction on this is excellent, even with heavier tile. It cut the job time in half. This tool is durable enough to last years.
