I've owned one of these for a couple of decades after having poor luck with the corks a couple of elderly bottles of Château Musar,Just purchased two for family and a friend after visiting them over the holidays and watching them struggle with dodgy old corks that broke apart when subjected to a standard screw style opener.

The large needle that enters the cork simply buckled and nearly nicked my hand that was holding the bottle. Up to this point we loved how easily it opened a wine bottle.

We drink a lot of wine in our house... we own a wine cooler, have subscriptions to wineries, that kind of thing. Every few years we'll break off the needle on one of these and have to buy a new one, but it works so easily we don't mind at all.

I’ve always had trouble using a traditional cork screw. This makes opening a bottle of wine very easy. I will be using this from now on.

I was visiting a local winery and they used this opener and I thought, I have to have it! It’s the best opener. No more struggling with the cork and having pieces in the bottle. All I have to do is insert needle into cork, press the top and the CO2 releases the cork. So simple!!! Includes additional cartridges but so far I have not needed to change it. Love it enough that I purchased 3 more as gifts!

The sales video accurately demonstrates how it works. My hands are very sore and conventional openers were becoming too difficult to handle. As long as I can hold the bottle I can get it open with ease.One issue is sometimes the cartridge needs readjusting but that is a small inconvenience which I am more than willing to deal with.This product is for anyone who has to pop corks...whether only once in awhile or every day..it is worth having in your drawer.
