I liked the overall construction and weight of this bike seat fastener. It was easy to use, did the job well, and was a good quality for the price.

Because I recently refurbished mynold Fuji 2.0 Avaire road bike, I wanted to ensure that my seat post was properly held in place and my old one was not quick release. after reading a good deal of reviews I realized that this is a brand that can be trusted to deliver. And so it did. And it looks pretty nifty as well. Good value for money and very easy to use. So it makes removing/adjust your saddle post height, a breeze

I like this quick-release clamp, my bike, which is a Co-op DRT 1.1, came with a bolt-style seat-post clamp, which while being the most secure (arguably), is the slowest for dropping your seat and the least ideal for mountain biking (MTBing). It's pretty secure, although I have had it come loose a few times while riding. It wasn't like the seat just dropped, the saddle just shifted to the side. I'm pretty sure it's caused by all the vibration from riding (I have a hardtail, so a full suspension will have less of this issue, while a rigid will have more). No biggie, just check the tightness of the clamp every month if you do normal riding, and maybe more if you do more gnarly MTB riding. I just never check it until it loosens too much, so that's on me. I never remember, so my solution was to take the clamp off the bike, unthread the bolt from the lever, apply a drop of blue 242 Loctite, screw it back together, and install as usual. It's been fine so far, and the threadlocker will prevent it form coming loose again (at least for a long time), but you can still disasemble it.I've had this clamp for just over 15 months now, and it's not showing an major signs or wear, if any! It's well made, and the finish is good. No scratches yet. It also, unlike some other cheap bike parts (*cough* like steel bottle cages *cough*), doesn't weigh a whole lot! I haven't bothered to weigh it, but it's pretty lightweight, no Carbon Fiber light, but like Aluminum light. You won't notice a difference in bike weight unless you count grams! If you have a bolt-style seat clamp and can't afford a dropper, get this! I use it all the time to lower the saddle before descents, and to raise it before ascents. The lever is also big enough to provide enough leverage to tighten it properly, while not being so big it catches anything. Also, note that the lever curves in, then out and the end, giving your palm a place to apply pressure. Most stock quick releases curve it, making your hand slip off half of the time. 5/5 stars! If you found this review helpful, press the "helpful" button below this review so others can see!

The clamp has held up pretty well. It's fairly easy to lock and release, and does so smoothly, as the QR lever is a little longer. It doesn't provide quite as much clamping power as a traditional clamp, but most QR's don't. The washer in the quick-release skewer is made of plastic, probably the weakest point in the product. Over-tightening will cause that washer to split. The clamp will still work though even without that plastic piece, just not as smoothly. For less than 10 bucks it's all fine with me.
