Both fittings have the same size barb (1/4"). They should not. A corny keg requires a larger barb for the gas inlet line (white connector) than the liquid outlet line (black connector). Now I need to buy a replacement fitting for the gas. I guess I'll just keep the extra one for when the beer connector needs to be replaced, and sharpie it black so as to not confuse the 2.

This 5-gallon Corny keg is clean, well-made, and perfect for home brewing. The filler cap fits securely with its ring gasket, and the included In/Out connectors are a great bonus. The sturdy rubber bumpers provide extra durability, and the size is ideal for personal kegerators. No complaints—just a solid keg!

The keg is clean and well-made. The filler cap is equipped with its ring gasket and the fit is excellent. I loved that the In/Out connectors were provided. The rubber bumpers are firm and fit well. A great additional or replacement keg, the perfect size for personal kegerators.
