The nose rope isn’t placed as high as in the photo but I actually really like this hack and has become my new favorite. I’ve tried so many different hack styles and so far this is my mares favorite also, she rides really nice in it. This hack has a good Whoa to it and you have a lot more lift & flex and overall control versus a s hack or Jim Warner style. Excellent tool for a horse that needs to get snappier on backside of a turn. I will say the curb chain could be longer/ bigger but it’ll work for now.

Picture is deceiving... it’s missing the two extra knots, noseband isn’t placed where it’s shown to be placed however it should work. Don’t recommend buying this again to anyone however...

The rope part makes it unusable since it sits directly in the middle of the metal instead of where the picture shows it.

So i am pretty sure my horse likes this a lot more than the bit. Tom him about 5 mins to figure it out but i think he's a lit happier. He rode decent already in a rope halter so i decided to try this. I'm glad i did. The rope might be a tad bit long. In the pic and in hand it seems huge but this is also the first time I've ever used a hack. I'm glad i got it.

The placement of the nose piece is in the center of the hackamore that I received, and there isn't any way to adjust it. I can't use it on my horse, but maybe someone else can. I sent it to the thrift store.

Fits well, my horse seems to like it better than the last one I had. Tho the picture is deceiving. Shows the nose band towards the top of the bar... When It is actually dead center.. I think this makes the bit a little harsher than need be.

I ordered this for my Tennessee Walking horse, for barrel racing. I am overall happy with my purchase. The only thing I don't like, is that the rope nose band is a tad loose/big. But I just wrapped it up with some vet wrap and it was a little better.
