The tight, round braid allows you to pack a lot of backing onto small spools. Available in hi-vis yellow, pink, blue, and white, in 30-lb., 50-lb., and 80-lb. test on 300 and 2500-yard spools.

Seems like great backing but not really sure if there's any difference between this and a normal 30# braid, it's thin enough I have to assume this will cut or burn if you get to backing with a large running fish on the line. You may also need to get a bit more creative tying to a reel since it slips like a normal braid, unlike dacron backings. If you use an arbor knot, do a second loop on the overhand knot part, and that does it for me, basically an overhand surgeons arbor knot for lack of a better description.I can easily fit 300 yds on my saltwater reel where it would typically only take about 150yds of 20# dacron, so it's nice to have the capacity if needed.Otherwise, seems super strong, super thin, and should work great. I personally would stick with dacron if you aren't needing the capacity, cheaper, more colors, and not so thin you risk injury.

Perfect for a 10 weight reel. Small enough diameter that 300 yards plus 100 feet of 10 weight fly line fits just right.
