This is a nice size for both larger cats and kittens. I have two and two. They all play with it, even my senior cat who hasn’t played with anything in awhile.

This is one of my cat's favorite toys. He loves to grab it and bite it, kicking his back legs. However, I paid $4.00 for it and now it's over $9. I do not recommend this toy for this exorbitant price. Wait for the price to go down or try a different toy. It's definitely not worth more than $4 or $5.

I searched for a long time to find a good highly rated catnip toy and am so glad I landed on this one! I purchased the pepper and it is so cute. It's made of a thick sturdy material and the top green part is felt. It has a high potency catnip, which is great because the majority of catnip toys don't and my cat gets bored of them easily. This one He LOVES and goes to town playing with it every time I get it out. Other reviewers mentioned it ripping, I haven't experienced this (yet), and my cat has very sharp claws and teeth. Overall thrilled with this purchase and will be buying other styles! Side bonus - it's also a funny conversation piece. People get a kick out of seeing a cat play with silly stuff like a pepper or banana.

I’m obsessed with chillies and now my cat is, too. Unfortunately don’t have a video, but she’s no spring chicken, yet somehow finds the energy to dig out this toy and go crazy chucking it around and wrestling with it.Slightly pricy but worth it for her reaction.

This is the best toy I’ve ever gotten my boy! We’ve tried so many different toys, and he's either scared of them, or uninterested. He hates toys that make any kind of noise, also usually doesn’t usually care for stuffed toys and I even bought him other kinds of catnip toys before and he has never shown interest in anything other than us playing with him with a string. I bought this on a whim to see if he would like it because I did have success getting him to play with another toy that I put some catnip on (which he eventually destroyed and then didn’t care for any of this other toys), and he absolutely loves it! I have never seen him so attached to a toy since he was a kitten! For a cat that is generally uninterested in the many, MANY toys we have got him, including some costing as much as $50, I was extremely pleasantly surprised with how much he loves it!Not even just for playing, he also just likes to sleep with it in his paws and under his head like a pillow. Last night he wouldn’t come to bed and we couldn’t figure out why until I saw him laying on the floor outside my room with this toy, and realized it was because he wanted it with him to sleep.I am absolutely floored at how amazing this is, not only does he love it but it is pretty damn durable as well! He is an outdoor cat and routinely hunts and kills small critters in the backyard, so I’m also pleasantly surprised at how well this toy is staying together no matter how hard he tries to rip it apart.About to order more toys from this brand, because I am just so happy to have finally found toys my furry son absolutely loves. If you have an older cat that doesn’t typically enjoy or show interest in toys, I HIGHLY recommend this. I’ve legitimately never left a review on anything before but I am so pleased with this I just had to leave a review! We spent years searching for the right toy for him, I am so glad we have finally found it.

The RED PEPPER: This was a hit at home. Well made and they enjoy kicking it while holding with their front paws. Seems to make their day, so I'd say this was a win.The CARROT: I had to replace the old one they used to make because it just got too gross. Eventually, one of the cats decided this was a kitten, and started taking it to the water bowl, to the food bowl (wet food, gross!), and then, oh god, the litter box. I had to slip it out of his grip while he slept to throw it out. So, not wanting to have my face eaten during the night, I had to replace it. But they've changed the quality of the toy since the first one I bought. The seams are not quite as good and I doubt it will hold up as long as the other one did -- it was in great shape other than being caked in canned food remnants and used litter. I also had to cut the green feathers off; they got EVERYWHERE and are a major hazard for cats. Ingesting that risks everything from choking to creating a bowel obstruction. I don't know what these people are thinking with these feathers. Even if I didn't think it was a hazard, I didn't particularly relish the idea of cleaning up green feathers all over the house. This one was a bust for me, even if it was well received by the cats, once I "fixed" their manufacturing issues.

My cat loves this. One issue - within days, he managed to puncture the toy and dump out a bunch of the catnip. He continues to play with it, though. Still loves it. I bought another one and it's actually holding up better - it's been a week. My cat bites down very hard on his toys (more than any cat I've ever had), so this may not be an issue for others.
