We bought this for our granddaughters 7th birthday, we bought a simple song book to go along with this xylophone and tapped out a few songs. With the notes in the song book the same as on the xylophone it worked very well. We think she will be able to use it as she is quite musical.

Do you need to practice but hate the loud ringing qualities of a bells kit? Tired of getting sent outside to practice to keep from driving your family insane? Look no further. This sounds great, the keys are a decent size and with a pair of soft rubber mallets, is just loud enough the player can hear but not run out the whole house. It is also small and light weight enough that it can easily travel. Was well packed from shipping also. 10/10, would recommend!
