Each shaker is made with 100% real hardwood. The bodies are made with teak wood, and the tops are made with walnut and beech. The difference in colors will help you and your guests distinguish which is salt and which is pepper. Real wood can last a long time if properly taken care of them properly.
Sealed with Lacquer
The lacquer seal of our shakers help with long-lasting protection from the elements. Please do not put these shakers in the dishwasher or use harsh bristles against the surface!
Silicone Ring for Tight Seal
The silicone ring seal on these shakers ensure that the tops are securely sealed. Just twist off the cap, refill, twist back on, and shake away! (The twisting motion will make it much easier for you to take the tops off.)
Engraved Letters
Each shaker body has either an "S" or a "P" engraved into the wood. The cute letters ensure that you and your guests know which one is which (just make sure you fill them correctly)! The lids can also be a great indicator: The lighter lid for salt; the darker lid for pepper!
Hold Flowers
If you prefer to use our shakers for decor purposes instead, the little holes on the lids are perfect for holding cute, small flowers! I love the look! But the pepper shaker had a defect in the seal which makes the top sit crookedly and not have a good fit. The salt shaker is perfectly constructed, albeit very small and I have to refill often.

This is an adorable salt and pepper set. I showed it next to my toothpick holder for size reference. It's nice that it's space saving, and it looks to be well made. Only concern I have, having not used it yet, is that the seal on the lid is held on by pressure using a rubber washer rather than screwed on. I'm a little concerned that it could spill easily if dropped, but only time and use will tell.

I was excited to get these because I ordered coasters that formed a snail and I’m just overwhelmed by the cuteness of how it all looks together. They’re the perfect size for my table and the holes are perfect as well. Love them!
