This cotton candy machine looks super cute and vintage, and it does work once you get the hang of itโbut there are a few things that make it hard to fully recommend. First off, cleaning is a pain, and it spits sugar everywhere. I mean everywhere. At least five feet in every direction. Iโve had to move it outside because even after scrubbing my kitchen top to bottom, the ants just keep coming back.Once you figure out how to angle the stick and get the sugar placed just right, it does make fluffy cotton candy, and that part is honestly fun. But donโt expect to get it right on your first goโit takes a little trial and error. My biggest gripe? It doesnโt come with anything to get started. No sugar, no bags, no sticks. Just a scoop, which is kind of pointless unless you already bought supplies separately. For the price, I expected at least a starter pack of the basics.Pros:- Cute design- Makes fluffy cotton candy after a bit of practice- Fun for kids or parties (outside)Cons:- Huge messโsugar flies everywhere- Hard to clean- No included accessories except a scoop- Not beginner-friendly without buying extrasOverall, itโs a fun machine once youโre set up, but the mess and lack of included supplies are hard to overlook.

This is my first (and hopefully only) venture into cotton candy making. My kids are always so excited if we take them to some event or venue that sells cotton candy. And we probably don't need a giant plush plume of it either. This machine is simple to learn and use but will take practice for me to make a nice fluffy cotton candy without messing it up.Just like the instructions say, setup is simple:1) Place it somewhere safe to operate and within I think it's 3ft of a power outlet2) Set the main plastic bowl over it and spin counterclockwise to attach that3) Set the spinning plate in the center4) Set and press/clip in place the upper splash lid5) Power on to preheat for a few minutesOnce you get those quick and easy steps in, you turn it off, scoop and pour your sugar and turn it back on. Within seconds it starts to produce stands you can then start to catch and spin onto some sort of handle you would provide. I will say, I was caught off guard when my kids found this so while normal household sugar worked fine, I didn't have any proper cones. I tried icecream cones but that didn't work great for starting to collect a big fluffy wad and let the wad fall back in and melt to a glob. But popsicle sticks seemed to work well enough! So all in all first impressions are positive and my game needs some practice. I let mine cool for about 10 minutes before I took it apart to clean the extra mess I made on the center heating area. The 2 plastic clear pieces clean easy with some warm soapy water and a sponge or dish scrubber. The metal spinner also cleaned pretty easy and then I used a Clorox wipe to wipe down the main unit. I do think it got a bit messy on there because I dropped some fluffy parts from my makeshift cone and it melted to the hot heating element.Still an easy enough clean and when I get in my rhythm I think this will be a fun treat for my 2 kids and perhaps the few other neighbors with young kids once we get to more outdoor playing in our small neighborhood group.

I can't believe that I didn't know at home cotton candy machines were a thing sooner! I have been mesmerized with this machine every day for 2 weeks. I never knew how simple cotton candy is to make. There is only one ingredient: Sugar. That is all you need. I was bummed that it didn't come with any of those paper-cardboard cones to collect the cotton candy with. Instead, I have been using a makeshift stick cone out of a piece of a box that I folded over itself and taped together. It isn't ideal. But, the cotton candy this thing makes in less than 5 minutes is amazing! And so tasty! It does feel rather excessively hot after making two servings, and it starts to smoke. But, cleanup is super simple--- some warm water and soap, and the sugar just dissolves away from all of the removeable parts.

Please take my review with a grain of salt because I have never used a cotton candy machine before, but I did do a little research and it sounds like larger ones are much better for consistent performance. That said, this is the only one I've used, so I will be sure to post a video shortly.

This is a really cute little gadget. It works too! It really does make cotton candy quite easily. It's kind of a pain though. It only makes a tiny little amount of cotton candy and it takes a while. Setting it up, making it, then cleaning up are a lot of work for a tiny little treat. For a specific event, like a sleepover or small kids party, it would be a fun little gimmick. For the price I was expecting.... more?

Absolutely adorable.Perfect table top size for a small gathering. Wouldnโt use for prolonged periods of time, personally. It didnโt come with any sugar or anything so I havenโt been able to actually use it. That being said; if it doesnโt work well I will edit this review.
