The cord is a nice length. The controls are tight and aren’t loose, which makes them safe from accidentally turning the unit on.

I'm super satisfied with this 2 eye burner. I like the design if it, makes it super easy to clean. Not like the old school coil type of burners. If I'm not mistaken, one side is a little more powerful than the other. They both work fantastically. Heats up quickly. Be careful though, even if you're only using one side, the entire unit gets pretty hot to the touch. The reason I took stars away is because, it worries me. I only use it 1-2 times a week but 6-8 wks after getting it, every time I have used the right eye, it makes this really loud popping noise when it starts heating up. Doesn't cause any type of malfunction or anything while it's in use, it just scares me. I always unplug it after use, I'm a worrier and my mind goes to all the horrible things that could happen.

As stated. A little slow warming up. Other than that seems to be working fine.
