Fell off during first big gust and smashed into a bunch of pieces and destroyed Starlink. I purchased because reviews said it would be strong enough, and that’s just not the case.

I used this mount for the high-performance Starlink wedge dish. Everything I needed was in the package, and it was easy to assemble. The only downside is that the short vertical pole holding up the dish from the base is not super stable or sturdy. You can easily rotate the dish, and it wobbles a little, even with the screws tight. The dish performance does not appear to be affected by the wobbling. The base comes with two 6-pound weights, which are insufficient to hold down the heavy, high-performance dish in high winds. To help with this, I ordered an additional 50 pounds of steel shot and four weight bags to hold the shot. I plan to insert those weight bags under the dish on the base over the existing 6-pound weights.

I just changed out one of these mounts for a Client in California. At only 13.2 pounds, there is not nearly enough ballast shipped with this mount to keep it on a roof ridge in a windstorm. The too-light mount was pulled right over the ridge, and only the cable prevented the antenna from falling off the roof altogether. One photo shows the larger mount, pad, and concrete blocks we installed to keep the antenna in place. - Professional Starlink Installer.

This was exactly what I was looking for easy install great value . Has withstood a lot of wind, snow, rain and hasn't moved an inch. The fact it sets on the peak means it fits on any building with a pitched roof. It took me longer to to get my ladder than it did to install . Great product.
