The idea of a device that uses a magnet to cool the recovery tank, reducing the pressure at the most critical point to below 400 psi, where it used to reach nearly 600 psi, seemed too innovative to be true. However, I decided to take a chance and made the purchase, with the possibility of returning it in mind, should it not work as promised. To my surprise and relief, this product exceeded all my expectations.The Coolpressor, as I like to call it, is a sensational innovation in the HVAC world. Previously, I spent a considerable amount of time recovering gases, especially R410A and R404A, which often cost me precious hours. However, with the Coolpressor, this process has become incredibly faster and more efficient.The secret lies in the clever design and advanced technology that surround the Coolpressor. The magnet securely adheres to the recovery tank, making the recovery process faster, which is crucial for safety and environmental preservation. Got this as a want more than a need for recovering refrigerant. We already knew how to rig the hose on the recovery tanks but wanted something to minimize the splashing and soaking of my recovery machine. Surprising this little thing. It’s more useful than you think. Yes it’s a glorified “water hose magnet” but man, the less thought about making a makeshift splash shield and finding a way to securely rig a hose to the tank really was worth it in the end for me. If your on the fence for whatever reason, it also can make the water coverage more uniform over compressors and recovery tanks. Didn’t think I needed this, until I got it. It allows you to put the water where you want it to go.

Cools overheated compressors in AZ heat very quickly. Just turn on the water, set meter to ohms and work on something else, in no time at all the compressor will "close" meter will audibly let you know and your are off and running. also very helpful with recovery tanks. 5 stars, wish I'd have thought of it.
