I have had a pair of CQR pants for almost ten years (bought 2016)...which tells you they last. I've had several styles, and was disappointed to find that the last pair I ordered has been discontinued. I ordered these instead. The cost is a little higher, but the quality remains. They are comfortable to wear, and have more pockets than I need. They have a dedicated knife pocket, or there is an extra pocket guard on the right side if you want to carry it there. I'm happy with the pants, although I wish they were $15 cheaper like the older pair I bought. But given that I know they last, I'll keep buying CQR's. It's a great pair of pants and they just won't quit. They wash well, they last forever, and they are stylish to boot.

Great product. Had some of the Sapper pants previously. Durable. Light enough to wear while working in summer. Like the pockets on these better. One of the green colors was kinda funky verse picture but I consider that on me. True to size with good movement. Recommend.

Pants fit well and are comfy. I find the front pockets are little small I carry my wallet in my front pocket and it keeps falling out when I sit down , deeper pockets would be better but I will just have to be careful.

I work in construction and have owned all different types of carpenter/work pants throughout my career. These blow all of them out of the water, I just received my 3rd pair and am planning on buying more to make them my full arsenal Monday through Friday. There’s more storage/pockets than you need which is always a good thing, they are super flexible/comfortable and the BIGGEST sell on these is the elastic waistband. The other big name brands always have weird sizes and maybe the pants fit great, but the waist is too tight or too loose and when you bend down it causes pain. These pants are amazing and worth the price. See for yourself. I hope the industry follows suit in the future, no more outdated stuff work pants!

Recent disappointment is I can’t find the style I like or my size. I check in every few weeks and it’s been close to a year. I haven’t found my style or my size. Sadly I’ll be changing to a new brand.Old So they are still looking as good as they did those many years back when I discovered this brand. They reminded me of my service pants. But I they had many other colors and styles.I don’t enjoy the cargo pants so much for everyday wear. I like a straight fit. I get compliments on how crisp and nice they look. I don’t like baggy or tight. But fitted with a Little room to breath. That hardest part these days is consistency.I compare them to my older pants for size ( both new and old are size 34) but the new ones ( I got several pairs) when compared side by side are all different sized. And compare them to the old ones a bit smaller. This could be do to stretching affect, which I hope does accrue to the new ones to make them more comfortable. But each pair of new pants are slightly different in waist size and leg length. So to say the least, consistency is a problem. That and the hardest thing is to find the ones I like. Either the size is out of stock most of the year or the colors and style are.But I try to buy several pairs to last me.If you like them like I do, then you keep looking for them, like I do. Just wish they would keep them in stock more often. And a few more color variations would be nice.5 stars would be given if they would be more consistent in the ruler they use.Update: after washing them and wearing them, they fit comfortably and I’m thankful for that. My wife complimented them, thought the Jean style looked nice. I haven’t worn jeans in a long time since finding ones that fit as nice as the CQR so was hard. So when I saw them in CQR I got them. Perfect.

Perfect jeans for the right application.I love ripstop jeans but these aren’t your run of the mill ripstop. I used heavy duty clothing for brush country work with thick briar and cactus patches. I need the thickest material I can stand to wear. These are the opposite. The material is a tighter stitching than slacks but not much heavier. I prefer Wrangler Riggs ripstop or Ridgecut ripstop material for my work....That said, these have a place for most outdoor, summertime work and/or those who work in offices or warehouses and want a breathable, more durable material.Lightweight, heavier duty material but not the traditional thick material most want with ripstop. Think UPS driver uniform weight with ripstop style material.I will be ordering a few more pairs to wear as “dress” pants but not for work.6’0” and 195 lbs, I usually wear a 34 x 32 and the fit is slightly loose (I like my thighs to have breathing room) but these run a little large for my liking. I’ll be ordering a 33 x 32, if they’re available.Great quality for the price. Not what I wanted but another style I needed.

6’ 1” tall, 170lbs 32W-34L, Black4 stars reflects only my inability to comment on extended durability. Fit is how I like them with room in the waist and generous length keeping my boots covered. Very similar fit as a pair of relaxed fit double knee Dickies.10 pockets- 2 front and aft with the latter oversized. All but front left now f these 4 have a “fifth” pocket as referred to on a pair of jeans. Right leg knee/thigh, outer side, behind the seam. Very concealed- similar to Dickies, holds smartphone well. Left leg knee/thigh, outer side, behind the seam. Similar size but stitched and split into two pockets, the smaller of which can fit a pen or small flashlight, etc. 1/2” above this pocket is a Velcro strap. It’s the only “tell” that these are tactical pants, as none of the pockets are greatly oversized or have any flaps, buttons or zippers.Fabric is lightweight and breathable. Seems durable and so far is holding up well at work. Double belt loop in right rear hip. Sorry lefties.Very early on an isolated incident involving an accidentally deployed edc blade (concealed) led me to an important observation. This material has little to no resistance to cuts/punctures by sharp objects. Keep in mind this is considering a very sharp steel blade. I mended them with super glue and A&H.Good pants. I like them.
